George's first Beatles composition that he wrote on his own. Some early takes occurred the previous day. There is an edit vocal flaw at almost the end of the song, where George has an extra "don't" out of place near the end of the song at the line "when she's come home, until that day, DON'T, don't come around, leave me alone. Don't bother me." Only appears on post-Apple Canadian Capitol seventies re-issues (purple and possibly orange labelled discs). Approximate release date based on 1978 being year purple Capitol labels appeared. |
