2010 remastered account of the Washington D.C. concert of February 11, 1964 which was the first full Beatles concert in America, recorded just 2 days after their first appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show. This coverage is from the video file that was made available on the Itunes box set of The Beatles Remastered Stereo Box Set released on November 16, 2010, and includes footage that was previously missing, thus completing the show's coverage on film. The part that was previously missing is the second half of Twist And Shout and Paul's introductory comments preceding Long Tall Sally where he announces that it is 'definitely' the last number. The audio and visual quality of the entire show is far better than earlier accounts. Approximately 41 minutes. |
